  1. ok. I did not read the article, only looked at the image posted. Thanks.
  2. I'm on my second one, first one I bought slightly used and it lasted me 3800km, this one is on 2500km and still doing well. They are cheap enough to replace often.
  3. oh crap I'm dumber than I thought. Did not see that was not for the rear.
  4. If you look closely there are aircraft in this pic
  5. will doesnt say where the proceeds are going. Not that there would be much per item.
  6. I think I know the answer, but I'm taking a chance that I'm wrong. Will this work for a 6 speed ?
  7. Excuse my ignorance, but what do they mean by keeping the navigations tidy?
  8. Pretty sure it would, at least at the start, be a partnership with an established courier service.
  9. From the pics it doesnt look like a new Porsche, so possibly rather used. Those Cayennes depreciate alot more than their sporty coupe counter parts. Also looks like a non sporty version of the Cayenne which is even more undesirable on the used market.
  10. Quick spin around the airport before work. The sun is definitely waking up later these days.
  11. Thats the plan, and when she outgrows it her younger sister can use it
  12. New ride for the eldest daughter. bought right here on the hub. im rather jealous.
  13. If someone on here that doesnt have any reviews or has dodgy reviews is selling something and does not want to use BHP, as a buyer I would not trust them. You have painted a scenario where you dont trust the buyer, in my view, most of the time its the seller that is trying to scam buyers, for this BHP is a safety net.
  14. I just need to figure out what I'm going to use for the bending profile, will see if my steel place perhaps has an offcut for me.
  15. Put it for sale in the classifieds. * Like New * * Hardly Used *
  16. and waiting for the EFT to clear puts the buyer at risk. With transactions like these one of the parties will always be at risk
  17. Thanks for the reply. As I'm potentially making five or six of these I was thinking of making a jig with an arm that can do the bend for me, but if you're bending it easily enough by hand maybe I dont need to. I was worried 10mm would be to thick though, but perhaps a bit of over engineering is better than having to redo them again later.
  18. like wise there is no reason for the faster rider to be swearing. Everyone has to start somewhere, and when you start you are generally much slower than others. My wife will not ride at Big Red Barn anymore for the simple reason that the few times we've been there faster riders have been impatient getting past. This when we're riding with 2 young kids. But I also blame trails that combine parts of the easy beginner trails with the harder more experienced stuff.
  19. Well I have just purchased a bike via the hub from a guy in Cape Town. I did not use BHP. But he had excellent reviews from some long standing BikeHub members, so that gave me some peace of mind, plus the way he conducted himself also left me feeling at ease. Back to the reviews, I only trust reviews from forum members that have been around for a while and whose names I recognise.
  20. A couple of questions * The 10mm rod, would a thinner one be strong enough ? I'm thinking 6mm * The pic of your home made bender, it looks like you're bending by hand, did the 10mm bend easy enough ? I'm stealing your design though. Thanks.
  21. I'm looking for a trigger shifter for my daughter bike so I can replace that aweful revo shift. 6 speed Shimano. Willing to part with cash for it.
  22. That looks flippen well done.
  23. The best tape I ever used was not on a tubeless setup and was not tape. Its not a tape but rather like a large elastic band. Very tight to fit on, but once in place its doesnt move. I wonder if something like this exists for tubeless.
