  1. Dankie ou maat. Dit was n lekker trap 👍🏻
  2. Sell your HT and get a commuter - with a basket in front - then you'll be able to keep up with the old tannies 🤪
  3. Thanks Theo, @ChrisF has 3x9 shifters and a cassette in a box by him we're going to see if we can't do a gear upgrade at the same time. Thanks for the offer though 😎
  4. Good morning Robert, Thank you, I have potentially come right this side. @ChrisF has a set of 3x9 shifters and cassette lying in a box, so we are going to try and do a gear upgrade at the same time. Hope you recover soon mate.
  5. Hi all, I'm looking for a set of 3x7 shifters if anyone has some lying around please. Want to change the grip shifts on the bike of my SO's daughter (terrible things those) Cape Town area preferrably.
  6. Jy moet veilig ry ou maat en geniet elke KM van die Trans Augrabies 😎

  8. Jou vrou moet maar nader staan met die gieter vir die volle effek 🤪
  9. Dankie @Spinnekop ek en my saal gaan iewers tot n vergelyk moet kom voor ek weer so n rit aanpak 🤣
  10. Dankie @ChrisF, dit was nou n lekker trap. KOUD, en 💩seer aan die einde, but made it. Is bly ek het daai teelepel sement in my koffie gesit in Philadelphia 🤪
  11. Hence why I love my 1998 Isuzu Frontier (SUV). 2.8TD, 4x4, 10km/l in town. Rear seats folds down and I can comfortably fit my XL 29'er in the back without having to remove a wheel. Parts are cheap and surprisingly still readily available. On gravel she sticks like the proverbial sh!t in a wool blanket and having low range enables me to go anywhere I want to.
  12. Is jammer ek kon jou nie join vanoggend nie. Volgende week maak ons beslis so
  13. I’m sure if you show a pic here of the current faulty charger, some electrical wizard might be able to see if it can be fixed in the interim. Most likely just a broken off wire somewhere along the line.
  14. If I can add to this with me being 2.03 and 124kg We are at the absolute end of the scale when it comes to bike sizing - have the bike shop do a basic fit prior to purchase then go for a proper, professional bike fit after your purchase. And as soon as you can, have the rear wheel rebuilt with proper spokes. You will break spokes. I had my rear wheel rebuilt with DT Swiss double butted spokes and have had zero issues afterwards.
  15. ek het maar net die weerkaatsing van my wit arms af weggehou vir jou
  16. Dankie ou maat, was n lekker trap vanoggend
  17. Nee man, gooi bietjie sement in jou koffie ou maat 😂
  18. Dankie Chris, was n lekker trap vanoggend gewees 😎👍
  19. I can only agree with Morne here. Have one as well and zero issues with excellent runtime.
  20. Tyd om jou bunny hop skills te upgrade na pigeon flaps
  21. UPDATE: The spring is fubar. Pleasantly surprised though when I was told that the freebody will be replaced this afternoon under warranty 😎 @ChrisF - dankie vir jou hulp sover ou maat 👍
  22. Thanks guys. I’ll have a better idea Monday afternoon when I take the cassette off. So far indications seem to point to pawl spring failure.
  23. Reviving this old post. Had my rear hub fail on me this morning. It is the standard sunringle hub that my silverback stratos came out of the factory with. Seems that the pawls engage whenever they feel like it. Is this hub serviceable and where will I find parts? Just want to get it going until bonus time in Dec when I’ll probably purchase a new hub.
