  4. I'm running the previous model (2008/9) RP23 on my Zula. Definitely have much less bob on climbs and when standing up than 2 of my friends with the new RP23 Boostvalve shock (2009/10) on Propedal. Have heard of some guys who actually modify and bypass the boostavlve to make the shock firmer.
  5. My Polar profile of last years race. 44km, 1500 ascent. Basically just one never ending moerse hill. Race only really starts after the border crossing will take it easy till then... Just hope its not as muddy as last year. Good luck boet!
  6. I've been servicing and replacing my FSA BB for the last 3 years with 6805 bearings that you can buy at bearing man for about R40 ea. Have to rebuild about every 8 months if you ride quite a bit. The only trick is to remove the plastic bushes that fits into the bearings without breaking it. The bushes takes up the 1mm diameter difference between the 26mm internal dia of the 6805 bearing and the crank shaft of 25mm dia. The bush is also there to protect the crank shaft from damage when a bearing seizes.
  7. I've been riding a Zula for 6 months now and still enjoy it more and more with every ride whether up or downhill.. Cant go wrong. Just a warning: be ready to go seriously fast in the single, track just hope the pilot can keep up!!
