I found it interesting how Phil couldn't bring himself to say, that LA doped. He just couldn't say it. You could tell how conflicted he was. Great story though! Heine Verbruggen is a toss of note and so is Dick Pound for the shrug of the shoulders.

Geez! Tough crowd. These guys are literally at their limit, and we're all expecting these guys to jump out of the saddle and dance up a mountain. The excitement is not in an attack or sudden change in pace to ride away. The excitement is watching these guys applying their will to not give up. Its war of attrition out there!
Can you imagine the inner conflict Froome must be going through. I'm sure he believes he has the form to Win but his loyalty and duty to the captain override his desire to win. It must be chewing him up inside. The oppurtunity to win the tour doesn't come along every day. What would you do in his shoes?
