  1. Thanks Azonic. I found your post very helpful. I must admit I have 12 thumbs
  2. It sounds like you got it HARD with Pneumonia!!! Good luck! I also had Pneumonia during the holidays, but luckily not nearly as bad as yours.
  3. fatcyclist - How long after you started training (after your Pneumonia) did you get to the fitness level you were before your pneumonia? I think I read somewhere that you had pneumonia. If it was not the case, please ignore this.
  4. I have bought new pedals. The problem is, I can't get my old pedals off. Is there a trick to getting the pedals off. It's way too tight.
  5. The one and only time I did a TT, I rode as hard as I could the whole time. In hind sight I think I should have paced myself better. Maybe going by HR is not a bad idea and keep it at lactate threshhold. I'm not the expert, and would love to hear from more experienced TT riders.
  6. 0.5cm Thanks for clearing that up
  7. It is a 1 cm difference. In 2006 I had to go to a physio and podiatrist due to intense knee pain. They established that the difference in length between the two legs were the cause. The podiatrist inserted spacers between my left shoe and SPD cleat, which solved the issue. I'll make the spacers as you suggested. Thanks.
  8. My left leg is shorter than my right leg, therefore I would need to get spacers between my shoe and cleat. Is it commercially available? Any suggestions? Thanks
  9. Now that's what I'm talking about. Proper scientific reasons why one pedal is better than the other PokerFace2008-01-17 05:51:09
  10. Exactly what I'm thinking. If there is no other advantage than weight, then I'm happy to have 30g or 70g heavier pedals on my bike.
  11. So it's ALL about weight? Buy the lightest pedal you can afford. PokerFace2008-01-17 05:46:58
  12. I want to buy KEO pedals, but which model? KEO Classic = 280g KEO Sprint = 260g KEO Carbon Chromoly = 230g KEO Carbon Titanium = 190g Appart from weight (which obviously means different material) and price, is there any other advantage of having the more expensive KEOs?
  13. It looks like sub-vets is where all the action is going to be this season. It's very nice to see so many teams for this summer league. It should result in some good racing!!!!
  14. What's the difference between SPD, SPD-R, SPD-SL ?
  15. Sidi is beautiful, but more expensive than Shimano. Specialized seems (generally speaking) to have heavier shoes than Sidi. What do you recommend?
  16. what is the difference between SPD, SPD-R, SPD-SL ? COuld I use SPD cleats on all of the above?
