  1. Leave it! Stay in bed. At 12 you can get up and sell your bikes to somebody who needs a bike and IS NOT LAZY!!!
  2. I might be mising the point, but why is it so difficult to wear the kit of your sponsor? Is it a case of having multiple sponsors? (that's lekker). I'm not taking sides here. I'm trying to understand why people are so upset. PokerFace2007-10-23 12:03:11

  9. Sorry to hear all these stories about Avron. As I said, my experience was very positive. PokerFace2007-10-18 05:33:27
  10. Are you sure it was Avron? Because everytime I was there Avron was very friendly and polite and helpfull. Maybe it was somebody helping out or something?
  11. Wat betaal 'n mens vir so ligte fiets?
  12. Thanks Bikemax. Could you please quickly define L3, L4, L5 and L6? I presume you are talking about HR zones with L6 being very intense?
  13. What are your goals. Without dissing you' date=' those distances arent going to prepare you for a 100km race. Intervals are important, but so are miles. The sun comes up early enough now to do an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening. If you can get 2hrs a day in it will make a massive improvement in your training. Also, sunday after the race, go for a slow 3hr ride[/quote'] fandacious - do you train for 2 hours a day for 7 days a week?PokerFace2007-10-16 00:53:27
  14. Everywhere I read that you choose an event and start training for it 3 months in advance, steadily increasing itensity and tapering off just before the race/event. My question is: I don't prepare for only one event (e.g. Argus). How should you train once you are in the racing seaon with a race every week. How does the tapering vs. intensity vs. distance work in the middle of a race season?
  15. Dankie Nellie! Colonel - The company was GREAT FUN!!!!

  17. I had Conti GP4000 on. The sidewalls don't seem very strong. I had to replace tyres twice due to side wall damage. Now I have Gatorskin and they seem tougher (and cheaper to replace).
  18. My MTB and my Road bike have both been set-up manually (different places). The distance between my saddle and handle bar is not the same on my MTB and Road bike. It's 2 cm further away with my MTB. I moved my MTB saddle a bit forward, and it feels much better. I guess it's better if you find a good bike set-up person/shop and stay with them for all your bikes.
  19. The problem with all these places that have fancy computers to do set up, they only seem to use it when you buy a VERY expensive bike from them. I've been to about 3 bike set-ups, and it's ALWAYS the manual set-up.
  20. Dankie Nellie!!!
