Anyone in the 42km not get any results on racetec? 5 of my development riders did the 42km, with their racetec chips, but none of their results are showing 🤔

Hello Hubbers! I lead the Community and Development portfolio for Wine Lands Cycling Club and have started an initiative called "Holy Tubes" - encouraging people to donate their punctured tubes, which the Development cyclists will gladly repair and re-use. As well as any other spares and kit. The concept isn't new - donation boxes etc, I'm just creating a brand, and hopefully the name will catch on and get more people on board, expanding reach and support, even beyond the WLCC. Think... Holy Tubes boxes at races for those who want to give purpose to their unfortunate punctures 😉 What is a brand without a recognizable logo...? So, anyone out there feel moved to design a fun logo for the brand? I've attached the one I have been using. Needs to be neutral (hence the stick man). I like the idea of the halo being a tube, or the "O" in Holy could be a tube. Also attached a pic of the kids receiving and repairing Holy Tubes at our pre CTCT bike maintenance day this weekend 😊 Please connect with me if you're keen to help with a logo.

To those who also haven't received seeding and entered Td PPA, is the CTCT showing as an upcoming event on your Racetec results profile? Mine only shows Td PPA coming up and I'm wondering if I need to query it. Been getting the emails for CTCT though, like the medical form we have to do etc.

Okay so Regan says yes to selling the 56 frame and buying a smaller frame, and is super grateful for the support. He says the groupset is in good condition. Any ideas on how much to sell the Merida Ride 56 frame for?

Thank you! I'm just waiting for Regan to get back to me about his current bike status. His Dad bought him this bike a couple of weeks ago but didn't know about sizes. He's been trying to make a plan on his side too. Will update when I hear back from him.

Most bike shops have a "bin" for donations of kit, spares etc. Try your LBS Let me know if you don't have any luck with your LBS.

Hard to say... The guys generally take whatever is available at the time. Sometimes great bikes are donated, but most often it's very old bikes, or they go to the likes of Cash Converters and see what they can find. A challenge we're having is that their bikes are very old, with very old groupsets, and so it's becoming impossible to maintain them as we can't find replacement parts (new or second hand).

I look after the Development and Community portfolio for the Wine Lands Cycling Club. One of our Development riders from Nomzamo has a road bike which is too big for him. Size 56, and he is a 50 or 52. It's a Marida Ride with 9 speed Shimano Sora groupset (pics attached). He is hoping to swap it for a smaller bike, or sell it for R3000 and buy a smaller bike. Anyone want to (a) buy this one, or (b) swap, or (c) have a size 50/52 bike you're willing to sell for R3000? 😁 He is super passionate about cycling, and dedicated to his training (rides 3-4 times per week). He was struggling a bit at school so is now taking extra classes. A healthy kid
