Just got a new 2007 Giant Advanced Team earlier this week. Basically the T-Mobile paint scheme, except with blue replacing the pink. Blue for a boy's bike, pink for all the girls left in T-mobile after Vino, Klodi, Zabel, and occasional cyclist Ulle left. Now to see whether a new bike can make up for lack of training in the Fast One tomorrow...

I raced my SLR until the cover started falling apart. Then pulled the cover (and padding) off and continued racing on just the bare shell. Did a double century on it no problem. Loved the saddle to bits. Then got an Arione on a new bike. Also a great saddle, but obviously not quite as light as the SLR. I think the Arione fits a wider variety of riders, but if you are one of the lucky ones who are comfortable on an SLR, then there is no reason to change.

Actually, the dust cap has to be screwed on tight with the correct tool before the bolts are tightened. This ensures that the non-drive crank seats deep enough on the axle. I've never had issues with my Dura-Ace crank, even though I just tighten it with a multi tool. I must admit that I feel ashamed to admit that I even own a Dura-Ace crank (on a spare TT bike) as I am a Campy convert.
