My carpentry team, how do you like our birch panelling, oil came out a bit dark, ‘not my choice’. 15mm birch, got quite a bit of offcuts if someone wants to purchase for a reasonable price.

My new 29er didn't fit my old Thule towbar bike rack. So I designed & drawn up a new longer bike wheel tray. Bought two really nice wheel ties, from Front Runner. Planned in SketchUp 3D, drawn CNC file in AutoCAD. Got cut and bent up by Vulcan in CT. Removed the centre bike cradle and fitted new cradle. Worked out perfect, for just over a thousand Rand.

Planning an DS E bike purchase, budget is R110, 000.00 max. Casual rider aged 55. Love the table mountain trails but too unfit at the moment. What would the best buy be for my money. I would prefer a 'brand name' bike. So far my number one choice is the Specialized Turbo Levo Alloy.

There are some nice routes from Claremont linking every piece of single track together all the way to tokay forest, I tend to do a 43km loop from my house close to villagers. You van join me on sunday morning!
