This is exactly whats happened to mine, I hope it gets warrantied or even if they can give me a handful of those little metal parts so when they do break I can replace it in a few minutes. If this cant be done, like the guy on MTBR says, maybe upgrate to the XTR as its a different system in there thats built stronger.

Im going to be more selective of the ones that I do. if it involves a lot of district road... NOT interested if it involves district road for miles on end with corrugations... NOT interested if it involves lots of soft sand, like beach sand... NOT interested Benchmark races for me will be Magalies Monster and Van gaalens, those to me are fun as I dont fall asleep from boredom, the race has to be at least 60% singletrack for me from now on. Howzit Guys & Gals This weekend at the corrugated dust dirt road ride, aka Crater Cruise I noticed I started to get some chain slap at about 20km into the race, I stopped to check if the switch was set to ON on my rear derailleur and it was... I knew something wasnt right so carried on, got home, washed bike and took off the cover to inspect the clutch mechanism. I then saw a little metal part hanging loose with the scre in the top and noticed on the one side it had a clean break. Has this happened to anyone else here and what was the fix, can I get another little part or would this be warrantied at all? I bought this on the 4th April 2013 and put it on just before Joberg2c

Problem is I ride to the start from the guesthouse and if I tell my wench to carry the coolerbox my worry wont be numb willy after the ride... it will be no willy to be found before you leave the house

I got a SMS earlier saying that no alcohol will be on sale there... FFS. Epic failure on the organisers part!!
