    I used words beginning with "F" which basically mean the same as bliksem. I still had about 10km to go in that 44 degree heat, it peaked just over 45!! It was unreal, I'll never complain about 30 degree heat again to ride in

    Mine took me to Bat Outta Hell in Karkloof on the outback trail.... It was hot as hell too

    Indeed, I ride it in rain or shine. It can be a little bit of a handful in the wet sometimes but awesome fun. Makes plenty noise, shoots flames out the exhaust when it backfires on deceleration. All in all, It's hard to wipe the grin off your face when riding it and that's what it's meant to do, make you happy.

    That's the reason why I looked so long and hard to get my Duke 3. I love the underslung exhaust.

    Eish, I had a chick in front of me on a 200 Duke with the IXIL twin exhaust... It didnt sound too nice, basically a loud lawnmower noise. Id much rather get a normal can on the side, if you can afford the Akrapovic, go for it otherwise you can get something else thats decent.

    You will enjoy the 390, I really enjoyed mine when I had it... I just wanted a bit more

    Oh ya for sure, 690 is very punchy in comparison it's also nearly half the weight. That 1050 is so nice to ride, very comfortable and smooth, the pipe also sounds awesome

    I been riding this for the past few days! Great bike, I fell in love... In saying that my 690 Duke is still truck loads of fun to be back on this morning

    If its easy enough for us to get in, its easy enough for them working the fields to get out... Thats the worrying bit. I also dont wanna get caught and mistaken for an escapee and wind up in a cell being a candidate for "speed dating".

    I did it last year, loved every minute of it. Had a grin slapped to my face for the entire ride. I was finished and in the beer tent before 9am with Mikebike, JCZA, RossW, Escapee Was an awesome day out but the guys that started near the back, I drank their beers on their behalf. Sorry.
