  1. I like hearing that, I like the fact I have something thats a bit rare
  2. Bought me a pair of these this past weekend... My Oakley Juliets are very loose on the nose pressings after 12 years of abuse.
  3. You only know your father in Nkandla hi, Im ChUkKy
  4. I see a similarity... http://i.ytimg.com/vi/CohJksnlT1g/maxresdefault.jpg
  5. As long as you know how to drink beer afterwards, all is fine...
  6. Go back to your bridge please, dont come spoil this thread otherwise theres going to be more cases of Threadshedding in this hub
  7. Im entered now Cant wait!!! All I ask for is a bit more light in the dark tunnels, a suprise drop off in the dark almost left me with a new unwanted paste in my bibs. Please dont give crap medals this year, the bells were a cool idea. No crap USN tinned drink either at the end, rather something decent. I'd suck on my sweaty buff before drinking that hondnaai.
  8. Your worry is justified, SAPO is as useful as a Zimbabwean election. I waited 7 months for a parcel to arrive, at least I got it but 7 months wait made me swear to avoid them like the plague.
  9. I had no bottlenecks last year, I did hear of them though. Started close to the front so had pretty much a clear run at it all. Only bottle neck I had was on my lips with ice cold beer passing through it
  10. Super bright when in the dark... obviously dont look at something bright and then look at the watch as it will take time for your eyes to adjust. Mine sits next to my bed and when I wake up during the night and glance over I can tell the time easily without having to grab it and bring it close to my face. Those "markings" are also not painted on, they are tiny gas tubes. The gas inside them glows. If memory serves me correct its Tritium gas inside a tiny glass tube thats got a phosphor coating. The gas reacts with the coating and gives off a glow. Under black light they stand out like a sore thumb
  11. Loving my Luminox lately, totally different feel compared to my usual daily citizen. This has a carbon casing and is super light, almost forget I have a watch on at times.
  12. Nice looking bikes but how nicely do they ride or feel?
  13. Im sick of my work and the k@k I have to deal with, the constant reminder of you're not the right colour, not the right age bla bla bla. Its been used as leverage to not give me an increase the past 2 years. Would like a change in career, worried I may be too old for something new. Does that count as being sick of something?
  14. I think whats missing is my valuable contribution to the threads, I have been very scarce the past few months. I will post more.
  15. Ill give you both my nuts for that bike, I dont need kids
  16. These are great little bikes! I sold mine and got a 2011 690R. It had 4000km on the clock
  17. Hahaha Not for love or any money... I love those wheels, main reason is I don't have to fook around with rim tape or battling to get tyres to seat ever. I've sworn many rims and wheels battling endlessly getting a new tyre on. These are worth every cent they cost.
  18. On the wild side in St Francis...
  19. I'm a neutral fella, I don't cause ***... This year was fun
  20. At the top of Krugersdorp hill, guys paraglide from there. That's civilization that you see in the distance there.
  21. This is mine thats been made into a SS. Love this bike!!!
  22. Ive done an 80, then last year I did a 40 because I had only been back on the bike for a week after a few months off... I may comb my hair like a **** but Im not one to do the 80 after no riding for a LOOONG time. 2015 im in for the 80
  23. This is a proper MTB race, not this dirt roadie ***. I am in for sure!
