  1. Hi Tech Experts, I have a 2015 Momsen VIPA AC https://momsenbikes.com/archives/2015-bikes/vipa-ac-se/ and want to use this on an indoor trainer like a Kickr snap or Cyclops Fluid 2. I will need a Thru axle adapter but cant see how this would work with the gold part on the right side of the bike (See Pic attached). Has anybody tried this? Any creative solutions out there besides buying a new bike?
  2. Cane Creek Thudbuster without doubt, Have had mine for a year and am very happy with it. If it is properly setup and you use the correct elastomers there is no sag
  3. Thanks for the advice, will try tonight
  4. Not sure how to tell but I think its a post mount type
  5. Yesterday I had a front wheel puncture and after reinserting the wheel back into the fork I now have the inside pad rubbing on the disk rotor.(Shimano BR-M486 brakes) Normally I would reinsert the wheel and hold the brake lever tight before closing the quick release skewer so that the wheel is centered in the caliper but this does not help. Any advise on solving this issue would be appreciated.
  6. Thanks but based in JHB. I can see problems and delays with Royal Mail as I have a postnet mailbox but the parcel will be deliverd to SAPO.nOt sure if the letter will be forwared the postnet mailbox?
  7. Can any body advise a CRC newbie. The Royal Mail option through CRC has no tracking so how do you know when the delivery has arrived at the local SAPO? Will they inform you somehow or do you just take a chance and go past? Whats the typical deivery time to RSA in your experience? They say 5- 8 working days but is that correct? I know the other delivery options are better but the Item I want to order will not justify the extra expense so will have to go Royal Mail.
  8. Thanks for the advice, Ill give the manny methods a go and report back soon

  16. Has anybody used the garmin forunner 50 as a heartartemonitor/speed/cadence computer specifically for cycling? It seems to be a relatively cheap option to get all these features and GPS at about R1350. Is it worth the money for a basic GPS unit bearing in mind I don't want it for navigation but would be nice to use when I get back home and see my routes etc? What is the software like? Any opinions?
  17. I can definatley recommend Arran. Did my mountain bike about 6 months ago and it made a huge difference to my power and comfort, not to mention no neck and knee pain. I was so impressed I did my road bike aswell about 2 weeks ago. its amazing how what you think your correct position is, is probably not correct until youve spend the time and money to get it properly sorted. Well worth it!!!
  18. Very Sad to hear, all the best with the recovery
