The weather looks OK. Very little chance rain (and Bloem is not known for morning showers).... moderate temps but windy. This is however a "highway" race so snuggle up in the bunch. Just be carefull if there is crosswinds.......... When getting tired dont go to farinto the road to get that wheel as it is still the N1!!!!! Also watch out when those 36 wheelers come past in the wind it can chance a few people's "lines" quite easily. All in all just be responsible and concentrate.......... What I want to know is when is the lucky draw for those 2 Merida bikes?

Ok I am going with the 910XT. Just one question. If it does already have GPS and all that then why is a footpod optional? What does it do?

Hi all.......... I am looking at buying a watch for Ironman training and racing.......... Currently there are a few options from Polar (RCX3, RCX5, RS800CX), the Suunto Ambit and then some offerings from Garmin as well........ Which will be best suited to my needs? I am the following:- - Mainly a runner and biker........... - I already have a decent speedo/cadence-meter on my bike so this watch will be on my arm the whole race - HR monitoring and accuracy is most important - I dont want a watch that "jumps" around in terms of this or other data - My budget is around R4,000 (please also let me know which stores are the best for buying these)? Any suggestions? Thx!
