In the long run you will save money - lower bike maintenance (no punctures / crashes) 4. You cannot be hijacked I believe the future of cycling lies with indoor trainers and riding only races

Sometimes its a good idea to get on the bike as to get rid of the slime... 3 golden rules of training and being sick:- 1. Don't train if you have a fever 2. Don't train if your joints hurt (or your body is sore) 3. Don't train if your resting HR is 10 beats faster than normal When you do get back on the bike go ride solo at first. Riding with a bunch may force you to keep up. Listen to your body.

The general person have no idea what these people have to face every single day of their lives. Go read again what the message says and then go google this illness. We should bump up this thread to get at least 100 hubbers to donate. How lucky we are to ride our bikes and live a healthy lifestyle every day when this boy doesn't even have a wheelchair nor will he ever know what it feels like to cycle. He was hit by a car. The witness did not get the number plate. However, another couple earlier saw this guy riding very recklessly and then took a picture of his number plates so he will be reeled in soon enough. Maybe we should go to the court when this guy needs to appear - I wanna see what he looks like and hear what he has to say. I also believe we need stricter laws in terms of when nightclubs need to close. They should close by midnight by law. This will mean everyone have to go home. Bloem also needs roadblocks as we NEVER have any.... People aren't afraid to drive drunk here. People leaving a club at 5AM is a danger on the road especially for cyclists. Just look at how many robots / lamp poles / cars / lives get destroyed close to the 2 most prominent night clubs in Bloemfontein

did a 6 hour ride on a virtual trainer on Friday. Was very impressed. Software and backgrounds needs a bit of work but this seems like a solution. Does cost R25k however.

By the way, the Chech guy you rode with is a friend of mine. He told me bout this yesterday.
