Well then it is both. That oke is very specific and knows his stuff. I got the Wahoo Kickr. I though I would use my Garmin 910xt's accessories (HR/Cadence and dongle) for the rest. Then I realised I needed Windows 8. So I got a tablet with Bluetooth 4. Now the accessories don't work so I had to order BT HR/Cadence items separately. Now finally everything seems to be working.

Guys just do your homework on these things. A few pointers... If you go the Windows/PC route:- 1. You need Windows 8 for the Ant + route 2. If you go the Blue Tooth route you must have BT 4.0 or higher In other words you need a new high end laptop or PC. Wahoo Kickr is Blue Tooth and NOT ant+. The Ant + is basically for HR / Cadence and nothing more. The easiest is to just go the Blue Tooth route.

You can go to any store that sells Garmin watches and buy a separate ant adaptor. R1,000 +- (sportsmans warehouse)

Kinomap is awesome if you have unlimited bandwidth. No importing ERG files as far as I can tell. It seems there is a imobileinterval app. Thanks Rouxtjie will check out Cyclops virtual...

The Wahoo app does not support the importing of files and auto adjustment of resistance. It is a straight forward trainer app that you can adjust while riding. Trainerroad is not on I-pad yet. It is only on Android and Windows although they are working on an app for I-pad.
