I am well aware if that, been there done that, been chased by a farmer in his helicopter... but thats a tale for another time... I also try to compare map ources , between Google, Strava, Garmin... but sometimes i do get to a fence that was not spotted on either of these sources

when you get to a 8foot game fence, go over it... it will add to the adventure... I know it, cause its true!

Who needs a fat bike for the beach...

very simple google can supply you with plenty ideas on that hitch I was looking a building a trailer couple of years back thats why i know, did my home work back then already

I had one of these tipes of bikes for my son, if you can modify one of these to have a "flat bed" and use it as a trailer it woulod be the cheapest and most easy option Or copy the hotching mechanism, it WILL work...

In this saddle bag i fit all this items the bulk of witch was the sleeping bag, i have this http://www.firstascent.co.za/shop/amplify-down-light/

and i strapped the solar pannel ontop of it...

Perfect... I fit my tarp,sleeping bag,pillow,shirt,shorts,jersy and later in the ride my arm warmers and body shell in the bag... Leaving my frame back for tools and spares and the handlebar only for food... Worked well!!! just didnt have room for my stove, but i refused to take a back pack...

So the plan got updated very early on Saturday morning and i decided to cycle to Roodekoppies dam, spend the night an head back to Centurion on Sunday... I did the very lazy tour to the dam, stopping a bunch of small tittle shops and soaking up the sun and riding some long sandy HI ways... Got at Roodekoppies at 12:30... die camping there didn’t look like much and every ware is notice boards warning you of crocodiles...this somehow for me would just not work with my tarp tent and sleeping bag so close to the water... GPS said, i did 103km, I decided to change my plans again... I never did 200km in one continuous ride... so i headed back to Pretoria, got home 19:40 Saturday night

turn out my Lesotho trip is on ice... so to speak... but will be doing a Loskop trip very soon... like in the next month or so... done this route 4 times already, never gets old...

Yes, going UP Sani and yes, camping is the plan We did Sani up and down last year, so i know what to expect

Slightly amended route and profile

Still working on it... i cycled from Himeville to the top border post last year in 3.5hours, no kit BUT, my kit setup is super lean at the moment. Planned average is 15km/h over the 7 days, will need to motor a bit on the 1st 2days before i enter Lesotho...

should not be a problem... would have to be the first part on Freestate side... will post details not sure when im going for sure...
