Hi All What replacement valves would you recommend? I have a Shimano Wheel set, i understand that there is a difference to what will fit on certain makes of rims, is this so?

Mines 9.2Kg, running Tiagra, compact frame with carbon fork, this is very light in my books and my wallet... Gonna be much cheeper loosing that extra 2kg's on the waist, i have to agree...

I tip the scale at 80Kg and ride 1.6-1.8 bar, works for me... just dont know why anyone would ride tarmac with this MTB...

This is the second set i made, first was for a 1400 Datsan the securing on the Datsan was better than on the Bantam, we used the "quick release" latch as on a Venters lid to pill the square tubing onto the bin, this also could be locked to the bakie easily with a set of locks this way the bin is open to fit all your gear and camping stuffs for the long week end camping in Sabie

I made my own, bought the quick release brackets and did the rest myself, very solid

Pool Noodles works if you got more than one bike aswell, put it between the bike and the bin and between each bike, works 100% i used to use it on the old style bike caddies as well

Any other non obvious places? Your favorite "veld"?? I was last at Fountains about 5 years ago, compared to Groenkloof, how is it?
