I'm building a new wheelset, Stans Crest 26" and am looking for spokes, DT Swiss Revolution Spokes 2mm - 1.5mm & DT Swiss Pro Lock Nipples. My options so far are CRC, I can get 72 spokes and nipples for R850 incl postage. Where or who could I find that is local that could match or be similar in price, CWC is R650 for only 36 spokes. Many Thanks

Sorry,just to clarify, half the guys wont come cause Bronabee is not going to be there now . I agree that certain basic skills are needed. I can't wait to really put my Trance through its paces

We were talking 650B here,hence why the 650B topic was in the gravity thread. , I know there are 29" trail bikes with 150mm of travel that guys kick arse on. I do see your point though, in saying that they said that carbon frames where never going to be suitable either.

I'm more concerned with the clearance on the 29er bikeposted here.. As for why its in the Gravity section, is it not something that the Downhillers are contemplating as well. I still can't find any answers as to what is enough clearance?
