  1. You already made my eyes bleed with the last pic.
  2. I've done it to all of my bikes, and never had an issue. We are talking about a surface scratch. Thats like saying a mark or scratch on your frame is going to cause my frame to break apart. I may as well throw my new XT cranks away now as they have a scratch on them. You're making it as light as possible through the paint job, that why use a metal scribe. not an angle grinder.
  3. For heaven sake a small scratch or score mark will not jeopardize the metal or carbons integrity.
  4. He needed a hair wash and as the missus said, not much of a "package" to look at
  5. If you have just been for the fitting, things may change slightly so don't go making anything to permannent at this stage, so the red marker, tipex or even tape, another thing you could use is a white chinagraph pencil. This will wipe off though, but good enough for it to be there till you make some minor adjustments.
  6. You could also make a small score mark and fill the scratch with a bit of tipex and wipe off the excess filling up the scratch, make it as small as possible.
  7. Anything but an angle grinder, use a sharp nail and score it lightly if you want it to be really permanent, otherwise I use a permanent marker pen
  8. I was thinking the Scott. So one wonders who actually designs these frames.
  9. What is that a replica/ unbranded frame of?
  10. You thinking of starting up something? A bit of market research disguised as a thread
  11. I get so excited everytime I see this thread heading as there is a Palmiet River near my place in Durban, Westville. I even took a pic of the sign of the river at the bridge.
  12. That looks sweet. I went with the BBB protection Tubeskin sticker for that section on my new carbon frame.
  13. I don't think I'm OCD but I do like a clean bike, takes me half an hr if not quicker to do the whole bike. I even get bleak when I drive somewhere and the bike gets dirty before I've ridden it, OK maybe a bit OCD
  14. Yesterday afternoon at King Shaka Airport I saw a lot of the riders from the recent World Cup all booking in their bikes in a standard bike box that your bike comes in.
  15. lol, that was something I noticed too
  16. The missus was looking through all the photos and asked if I was obsessed with her as there were so many pics of her
  17. She aint to short, she is almost the identical height to my missus, so about 165cm, when I look at the pics of them standing next to each other
  18. She sounds like an Ozzie although its not a very strong accent, my wifes accent has become diluted a bit having lived abroad. You want pics of Tracy, OK then.
  19. The missus got to talk Ozzie with Tracy & her brother, she got some pics with both of them. Tracy is an awesome girl, and spent ages chatting to the missus.
