  1. Even scarier for the people to see the bike with a childs seat on.
  2. Not so at all, they still need to park like the rest of society, legally that is. There was a case I read recently where they were parked on the pavement and stopping people for speeding, and because they were illegally parked all fines submited that day where null & void
  3. They are saying mid January for new stock.
  4. This is exactly what I was trying to convince my mate to do, but which he is suddenly finding out, there are extras that need to be factored in, ie: Helmet, gloves, shorts, bottle cages + bottle, pump, multi tool, tyre levers & repair kit. Plus anything else, these will amount to about 1K+++++
  5. My mate who has also just bought his first MTB on the weekend, got the GT Avalanche 1.0 for R5400, pretty good specs. Decent starter bike, with a fairly decent front fork. Here are some reviews, MTBr.
  6. Check out the ZTR wheelsets, Stan's No Tubes.
  7. What would it cost to have the privilege of owning that? Looks awesome though
  8. Not had a chance to answer your PM, will do so tonight
  9. It was mental, more of the same today and the rest of the week it looks like
  10. More rain in KZN Woke up to beautiful morning and a flooded garage, so not a good start for me
  11. Then you come across a site like hotspot Cycles,My link , their website has prices and all info you would want about their products, from Bikes to components
  12. I agree with what you are saying about the tourism industry as I'm trying to plan my trip back from Cape Town, and again very frustrating It just makes sense to me to have prices on it. This cannot be to difficult, can it? Instead of having to drive all over Durban to all the various stores, I should be able to do it from home, then once I've made an informed decision based on the advice/ pricing via your website, I will come into your shop. I wasted so much time going into shops, that had nothing to show So for me I won't go back there and won't recommend them to anyone. It could also include what they charge for various levels of bike repair and servicing.
  13. I'm in the process of having to help a mate and his wife choose there first mountain bikes. So after having to deal with unfriendly staff as well as not a great variety of stock on the floor to look at, I've come to conclusion that for a first time buyer it can be very confusing & daunting. I let the sale people do there jobs while I walked around looking at other stuff, but listening to them you wonder how they manage to get people to part with any money. You get inundated with so much technical info, it must leave your head spinning, and feeling very intimidated So we moved onto the Internet, so I could try explain to them all of the technical info being spat out at them by the various sales people. We wanted to see what bikes/brands were on offer from all the LBS stores in the Durban/ Upper Highway area. This is were my problem comes in, why do they not maintain them properly and have better/ more info on them with regards to stock of bikes & accessories. It was so frustrating/ painful to search through most of the LBS stores websites. I wanna be able to see what brands you have in stock, I wanna know what bikes & accessories cost at your shop. Surely in this day and age this cannot be hard. I do not expect every single item to listed and priced(although this would be great), I'm also not expecting it to be like a online shop( ie CWC or Easybike) I just want to know what all the bikes in your particular range cost, right from bottom of the line to top of the range. I do realise that prices change all the time as well, then possibly include a disclaimer, surely it could be a part of someones job to update this weekly?
  14. Who is this say God you speak of?
  15. I'm looking at a set of Shimano XT - 9 speed shifters. Have you got?
  16. If there is anyone ordering from CRC soon, if so would it be possible to add to the order please. Need some new shifters.
  17. Inspiration can come from anywhere, be it Yoda, God or Buddha for that matter I don't pray and have very, very little faith in religion, but I do believe in a God. I've been through and seen enough to have my reasons. Also in saying, I respect what other people do and their choices.
  18. Who did Yoda visit to give his divine inspiration?
  19. Now I get it, it was only the Religion of Christianity.
  20. I am, just confused, as Tumbleweed said that Paul was divinely inspired by God after Jesus was crucified. So would faith/religion already be in existence by the fact that Jesus had his many followers & disciples before he was crucified.
