Whats the differences between the home versions of the Park Tool pumps and the mechanics versions, I imagine that most brands will do this within their ranges?

+1 on this, these are the guys that need to get caught, they are the ones fuelling the hi-jackings & thefts, without an outlet to sell these bikes on it will prevent further thefts.

I can't actually believe that this ar$ehole is still able to operate a business selling bikes, thats two stolen bikes found in his possesion in a matter of months - Somwthing HAS to be done now

This is very important I think, seems that there has been a definite reduction in the high-jacking so word has to be spreading amoungst these low lifes

I don't mind paying the money for a quality product that will last a loooooong time, my last pump did about 10 years of service. Nothing more irratating then spending money and then the gauge or something breaks in a year.

So my old Zefal floor pump has gone to pomping heaven, so what pump to go for? Not much to go on so far in this thread, except for the Park Tool pump.

Not to knock the presciption range, they are fantastic glasses and a great product - But everything you mentioned above I got for a half the price with my adidas frames & lenses - they are RX impact, I got the hardcoating and they are photocromatic(photochromic, all the same thing) , they too are polycarb lenses.

Not so sure about this, this prevents proper air circulation if the frames are touching your cheek.

The lenses for my adidas cost me just under R2000,

Its for those very reasons why I never went the Rudy Project route, replacement lenses are crazy prices.
