Anyone got the Sandton Chronicle? Nice pic on the backpage of the 94.7 race, yet the text says "...Over 25 000 cyclists, a few of them uniclyclists, cycled the 10km, 20km and 30km routes through the streets of Joburg." So was my GPS wrong in measuring the 90 odd km done? Or am I still in recovery and misreading the text?

There is also a road race that weekend on the 14th, I think, Emfuleni Cycle Challenge 2008...

small/medium or 16/17/18" or thereabouts. but that's just a general guide. take her in to the shop and get her measured up. Yeah looks like I am going to have to do that... kinda throws the element of the surprise out the window but will rather sacrifice that for a comfortable ride and good fit.

Okay so the feeling is a demo bike with ladies saddle and some rides to determine outcome. Will start doing some investigations as to what shops can get me a demo bike.

She is 1.73m tall

I actually would have no idea... how could I determine that without being to obvious? I want to surprise her, although I know I will probably have to go back to the shop for setup etc.

Hoping I could get some advice here. I want to buy my Fiance a MTB, as she has been throwing subtle hints every time I go out for a ride, that she would like to join me etc. I am very glad she is paying interest and wants to get involved , but my worry is that I get her a new MTB and she has few rides and decides its not for her...what do I do with the bike then? I really would like to start her off with new kit though... instead of 2nd hand.

It's Tricky - Run DMC An old classic, had the mp3's on random the whole day and this brought back some memories from the clubbing days.

Maybe I should rephrase that and say I am willing to put the new waypoints in with the new intersections....etc.

If I get the old route I am willing to edit it with the changes and post the new route.
