Check out the Rook website, they are running some sweet deals on there one series. I have been using a Rook One for a while for commuting, love it ! only reason im selling is i want to do longer rides with mates. not fit enough to use the SS. Alternatively you can build one up which is a lot of fun but will take some time while you search for parts, not sure what kind of time frame you have. I have a old peugeot frame which has horizontal drop outs that im looking sell for super cheap, let me know if you keen. its a start.

Howzit So specific Jump bike( Dirt Jumper) is quite unique, with its geometry and saddle position it would not be very comfy to take on a trail ride. I would recommend to possible get an aggressive hard tail with a bit slacker geometry, 650b wheel size and a dropper post. A few examples you can google are the Silverback Slade trail, Octane one prone and Commencal Meta AM HT are a few that come to mind. Will give you a basic idea what to look out for. You can hit some reasonably sized jumps and do a trail ride as well. The other hubbers might give you some more ideas. Good luck

definately agree, rather send the fork to a proper shop that deals with suspension. It will save you time, money and a few headaches in the long run. Im not sure where you are based but give Stoke suspension a call in Woodstock if you stay in CT, they will sort you out and for a good price aswell.

Thanks for the offer, but i got too excited and went and got one already...lol the comments were enough to convince me. will start saving up for a 11 speed and upgrade slowly. Once again thank you all for the feedback.

I got a rook one chromo last year as a commuter... best choice I have made ... it took a while to get used to the fixed gear but I'm having alot of fun with it ... I'm not going to be doing any Cape Town cycle tours on it but as a commuter and a mess around bike it's legit
