    My son is turning 13 this year. I bought new 105 parts and fitted to a good secondhand frame. As he grows I will just change the frame. As much as I love Campy, Shimano is easier and cheaper to replace if need be. It makes it easier also if restrictions are needed for gears. I went for a 12-25 ratio and left the front deraileur off so no need to restrict to a junior cassette.

    Not bad at all. Try bargaining a bit. Good wheels make a huge difference if you looking at upgrading anything.

    What components do you have now? I would look at buying a carbon blank frame and transfering parts. Upgrade parts as time goes on.

    Stealth like a B2 Bomber. Stunning machine DK. I saw an orange Venge at Youngsfield with Junior Tour this past Saturday. Some dads came out with their superbikes to ride with kids.

    What amazed me at Expo is how many people left their bikes on car rack in the parking. That is just looking for trouble.

    bike24.com has some NOS on sale. I doubt prices will drop further for now. They stock Master X-lite as well. Maestro's have a header on their site that C60 will arrive in May. I saw Olympic had a 54cm Nero frameset that was intended for a customer. When I asked they said pricetag was 50K. No comment.

    Luckily that guy did not fall all the way down the side of moutain. He was brought back up with not too much effort.

    I can live with the rest of DA parts but that damn crank gets to me. The frame makes up for it atleast.

    Standing on the side today and witnessed way too much aggression from the lower alphabet soup with people shouting and trying to squeeze through gaps especially on descents. Left! Left! Coming through!

    That was quite a bad crash, sent alot of people to hospital. Speedy recovery to all.

    One crash only at Hospital bend. Touch of wheels and two went down, then the domino effect and before you know 5 or 6 more hit the deck. One guy could not continue due injuries and two others due to mechanical issues.
