There was Dope Contrl every single day of the Giro, 1st, 2nd finishers of the day, tour leader and an additional 2 random riders There was no Dope Control at Argus

Oh yes, I nearly forgot this little gem of an incident!!!! We were driving back from Capetown & Argus on Monday, and when we went through the last Tollgate at Grassmere, Barend was driving the Vito. When he stopped to pay the fare, the Tollbooth attendant (female) look at Barend and said: "Hey!!!! I saw you on TV Yesterday!!!!" How cool is that!!!!! Ha Ha!!!!Barend is a Celebrity!!!!

We (tCS) had an absolute awesome Giro (with Exception of Alex's crash & Hospital trip of course) with 3 riders getting extended TV coverage & mentioned by the Voice of Cycling, Phil Ligget by going out in breakaways on the Blue Route (Jason) Smits Winkel (Phen) & Chapmans Peak (Barend) Jaco also finished 13th or 14th in the final dash for the line (Result being verified, Chip not registered) So then Jaco, aka Dumbass, aka Kakaa!!! goes for a second lap with Barend, and decides to make thing Easy??? Interesting??? and Starts the Lap in 11x53 and NEVER changed the gear throughout the lap at all!!!! Yup, 11x53 all the way up Smits Winkel and 11x53 all the way up Chapmans Peak AND 11x53 all the way up Suikerbossie DumbAss Crazy Person!!!!!Cruxpearl2008-03-13 05:13:19
