Hi AH quite rude you are! I was only complaining about bad service as one does in Rant 'n Rave. I clean forgot that we sometimes have the nerd club from school checking our spelling and grammar. So to all chess club members and library monitors, get a life and see the post for the message not the spelling. AH sorry Big H,you should spend more time cycling and less time eating and reading through your thesaurus! .

Hi I have been riding at "The Vlei" cycle park for a year or so now, what a great place.I have also spoken to Wendel and Graham in passing and they are really nice guys. So after purchasing a 29er from my old bike shop Westdene, I decided to give "The Cycle Hub" a go for lighter parts that I wanted. What a let down, the tubeless conversion was done no problem, but after calling 3 times for a Ritchey bar and no reply I eventually bought it from Westdene. I then ordered a momsen Design post last thursday, and once again after hearing nothing I called Momsen, only to be told that it was still there and that I should contact The Cycle Hub. I then called Graham again and he never replied with what was going on, so I called Wendell and cancelled that order to! I also phoned Wendel for a flex seat post from Cannondale and I have not heard back from him. Garth So it seems that I know know why I have shopped at Westdene for 23 years!

Yeah yeah I went to see Richard at Cycle Fit, he took his time and what a cool guy, money well spent! Garth

**** I have been shopping there and at their previous store since 1987, nearly left my GT 29er there yesterday for it's first service!!!!!!!!!!!

I rather bought the GT Zaskar 9er, 2-3k more than the Giant but about 1.3kg lighter than the Giant(also a good looking bike), spend an extra 2-3k more and easily get it to upper 10kg's!I love the ride, find I needed to train a bit more on steep technical hills or use a lighter gear than my F/S Volcan, but it out performs the 26er in all other departments.

How about splitting the sale section up further, say into bicycles, parts, clothing and wheels etc???

Nice bike. I chose the GT cause it was lighter(but more expensive obviously) but it looks like you have done a few mods, any idea on weight or weight saving?

Gipiemme 29 er wheels at 1450g a set, will save you at least 400-500g of the standard wheels that I got on the bike.

Hi I had a Volcan FS2 2009 @ 10.9kg so I did notice the almost half kilo, but I noticed that it was a harder ride on my lower back even more, even though I used to lock-out my suspension on my Volcan often! I have made a couple of changes and it will easily be under 11kg now. The ride on the 29er is awesome, it makes ditches and rocky sections simple, and rolls effortlesly on the flats.

Yeah and it eats rocks and ruts....

My R1100 Giordana's have had the stitching come lose twice in 6 months, but my Anatomic R 260 bib shorts have been just as comfortable and no problems!

Just got my XO 9 Speed grip shift last week, and it's awesome!
