He is looking for more movement to prevent his ITB from flaring up after a ride or even during a ride. A very sore ITB during a ride can be so sore that it forces you to get of the bike. If the set-up or float is not correct and you do a multi stage race you will struggle to get past day 3 or 4. Make no mistake a sore ITB is not something to take lightly.With some people it can take a few months before they are able to ride a bike pain free or suffer pains after a ride.

Just a few things that I can think of at the moment.
Brake pads are shot. Rest of the bike is in tip top condition. Stripped the bike completely and cleaned every bit of it. Chain and crank blades and pulleys are all in perfect condition.
In todays world competition for the customers money is fierce. No company can afford to make sub-standard products and expect the customer to buy it. So there is nothing wrong with the Raleigh brand.
Seems that making a joke these days on the hub is a no no. Everybody doing the 100 miler knows the weather will be crap. To those doing the race I say good luck. To those deciding to stay home I say good choice. I for one will be doing the race and share in the pain and hardship with all the other riders. Onetime2009-05-15 02:22:30
