I think only you are crazy enough to attempt to ride it when it's muddy! Holy, we need to entice some roadies to come join us for the ride. Do you have any suggestions how? (no, unfortunately your magenta boa won't work for this scenario)

Is that a "add me to the list" ? yes please - are you aware of the new annual entry which is available for 500 odd rands for entrance to all tswane reserves for cyclists? well you can but one from the fountains entrance. A colleague has such an entry. I bought an annual ticket in November last year (R410-50) but it is only for Groenkloof. It is well worth it if you use it at least twice a month. They let me through the gates without having to do all the paperwork.

We are organising a Hub ride at Groenkloof Nature Reserve (Centurion). All skill levels/fitness levels welcome. We will split into groups and meet up at certain points if necessary. Date: 15th March Time: 7:30 am (start riding) Meeting Point: On the grass patch behind the bikes for hire rack near the security guard hut. Entrance Fee: Adults (19 years +) R18,50 Pensioners (60 years +) and disabled people R12,50 School children (7 to 18 years) R12,50 Pre-school children (6 years and younger) R5,00 Directions: http://www.tshwane.gov.za/groenkloof.cfm GPS Coordinates of Entrance Gate: S25 47.381 E28 11.774 If you don't have a mtb, you can rent one at Groenies. I think the cost is R70 per day with a refundable deposit of R200. Helmets are R5. YAY! Looking forward to it Let's set a date for the Groenies Hub Ride. I'll gladly take control of the slower group. I know that place well and we can take shortcuts and meet up with the fast group at various points.
