  9. So i receive a Edge 130 with 2h battery life. Not having had good experience with Garmin SA i decided to replace the battery myself. Amazon has real 130 replacement batteries , but shipping lipos are a pain so i decide to try the closet fit Lipo i could get: Garmin: Dimensions: 29.7 x 19.7 x 3.4mm Weight: 60.0g Voltage: 3.7V, Capacity: 150mAh, Generic: Dimensions: 26.5 x 20 x 3.8mm Voltage: 3,7V Capacity: 110mAh https://www.robotics.org.za/302025?search=lipo So although the generic has bit less capacity than the Garmin in, it sure would be better that the current situation and for R50 it was worth doing. Steps: Use hair drier to heat screen and glue that holds the screen in gentry lift the screen unscrew all the PCBs to get to the battery cut the red and black wires from the battery solder in the new battery replace the PCBs Charge the unit and check that its working Glue the screen back

  16. i had to replace the 2 main bearings on the hub . it has xd driver assembled it feels fine, but when tightened in bike the weel turns heavily i have assembled it without the free body and tightened it .then it spins fine. my assumption is the free hub body an main bode pressress together and creatrs friction . is there a missing spacer or something else im missing
  17. I need to organize a lift from the finish to start of the 100km ( with space for the bike ) any one able to help?

  19. Have a Look at the Cotic Solaris max. super fun steel https://www.cotic.co.uk/product/solarisMAX1#gallery
  20. I agree, if the seller does not accommodate your request to inspect the bike, walk away and look for a alternative. rather wait for a while till something you want comes along and you are satisfied with the offering, pickings are slim and expensive right now, but something should pop up along the way
  21. Jonkers family pass for 4pl is now R1300. I can see that for current wannabee members its attractive, it opens a lot more riding venues for the same price as the combined wannabee and helderberg permit cost.
  22. Comes down to the quality and type of trails they produce, wanabees trails are mainly dirt roads through farms and the trail fund have dumbed down trails in Ededn and surrounds, have men sweeping the forest floor with brooms and burming every turn.
  23. I prefer not to have my money go to STB trail fund or wannabees. I`l be sticking to the jonker famaly pass and helderbeg. I like the idea of supporting the trails i use and enjoy
  24. dis op my kalender
