  1. Best place to watch is definitely past the union buildings and towards the feed zone! Lots of people there, it was chaos to try feed riders because there were too many groups on the route at the same time! But racing was very aggressive and great to watch!
  2. Really well organised event as always! New route was great! Marshalls were great! Only one comment, limiting the drinks at the finish was not a welcome end. It appeared that there was not enough coke, was a hot day and a quarter cup of coke was just not enough.
  3. Will be right behind you
  4. I had the same problem and changed tyres to conti 4 season 25c and it clears the cable well. The conti 4000s dont fit though
  5. I disagree, yesterday I started my race next to a role model for cycling, the entire bunch was excited and it changed the entire atmosphere. The racing was positive! And if anything she only encouraged the younger riders. She stop and spoke to each young girl who asked her a question. I admire her for coming here to race. Ladies cycling is taking a dip again and this put the ladies onto the map, even if it was just for one race.
  6. Loose Cog as per you suggestion, here is a pic of the Zini i am trying to sell Needs a loving home!
  7. Congratulations to Juanita, the new TT World Champ in her age category!

    Mzansi Tour

The road surface was not a challenge, it was destructive! I am sure a number of carbon wheels have irreparable damage after that. I believe one of the team managers even pulled his entire team from the race. I am sure a better venue could have been found, we have such a beautiful country and we aren't depicting that to the international teams. Disappointing finish to the tour!
  9. This is the one already at home, and the GT gutterball arrives on Saturday
  10. I believe the site has just been launched and will be functional soon.
  11. They currently have some great prices listed on the site and I know they just got all the new Northwave stock in, so hopefully that will be on their site soon!
  12. Just thought if anyone was interested, Northcliff Cycles has started an online store: http://www.northcliffcycles.co.za/ You can't order just yet, but I spoke with them and it should be active soon. They are having a clearance sale of all old stock in the store if you stay in the Johannesburg area.
