  1. Nice!!! Any pics of them on the bike?
  2. Should be a 34.9mm if a 31.6 or 30.9 seatpost. Seattube diameters are usually 34.9 ( for 31.6/30.9 sposts ) , 31.6 ( for 27.2 sposts ) or 28.6 ( cromo frames - 27.2~25.8 sposts )
  3. These are new ----- available towards November in South Africa. But for a fast rolling, non UST tyre, these are gonna fly! There are some test sets floating around the country and initial feedback is good, but definately only suited for those more "technically gifted" in terms of bike handling skills Having said that, Lance raced with one of these tyres in the SnowMass event .....
  4. Yip, maybe for his heavy training wheels, but for select Race Day events there is only one rim/wheel to consider - ZTR Race .... 284g a rim.
  5. Not accurate .... Burry using No Tubes Rims.... minus the stickers and branding.
  6. Is the jury still out on these? Apparently Mr Sastre used them in the Tour - seem to have worked for him?
  7. Awesome coverage of the race at: http://www.superhumanmag.com/content/view/763/92/
  8. This is a pic that TREK circulated to the media - the actual bike he used in the Leadville 100 was actually quite different ..... he ran Stan's ZTR Race 7000 wheels with THE CROW tyres .... so did the guy that beat him .. Dave Wiens. Probably changed the saddle and a few other key items too ....
  9. Yes, know the bike, have seen it at the races. Was hoping for some CTN, DURBS, JHB pics?
  10. Race was won by Carl Decker - check out this link .... be warned, some seriously disturbing photos!!!!! http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=445279
  11. They probably still partying!!! Will do some searching - Dirt Rag could have info or mtbr ss forum?
  12. http://www.bike-sport-news.de/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=20039&mode=&order=0&thold=0 http://www.bike-sport-news.de//images/storypictures/29194.jpg Those wheels are impressive - would love to know what Spokes were used - Rims: ZTR Race, Hubs - Tune, Spokes - ?
  13. Agree, but have to wait for my wife to fall asleep before I put my sub 11kg FS bike on the couch for the photos
  14. Will be keeping the HT frame selling my Oiz PV (Alluminium) frame to my boet. Cool, hope you putting a new SID ( white of course ) on that frame then. Oh, and some custom wheels .... ZTR's no less!
  15. Imagine how nice it would be to have both???
  16. Rumour has it that the Olympic Gold Medallist in the Ladies race was on board a 7.2kg race bike!!! So, let's see some weight-weenie builds in good ole SA. Hardtails - sub 10kg? Full Sussers - sub 11kg?
  17. http://www.redbullrampage.com/ I guess the next chapter begins soon!!!!
  18. Agree - think these guys have opened a whole new can of worms!!! Really like these new offerings from LOOK - good job!!!
  19. Great pics - is their a site with higher res and more photos?
  20. Won't both these guys be competing in the Olympics? Should make for some great racing
  21. Bike was awesome!!!!! The 4"travel setup feels like alot more ..... a characteristic of the DW-Link .....and has a XC/racer geometry which just feels right. The DH's were a blast and I ended up running the bike with Pro Pedal OFF the whole ride - there is no need for it! Still want to experiment with setup pressures on the rear shock, but first impressions are really really good!
  22. Those wheels would look good on one of these
