good morning to you Johan, i think the sizes i need are the two common sizes namely 1/8 and 3/32 and they are for shimano hubs

thanx , i am lead to believe that their s are of a lower grade than grade 5 ( lower as in rougher finish ) looking for grade 5 as i m led to believe these have the same minimal rolling resistance as ceramic bearings

the cage ( part that runs either side of the chain ) is wider than the std derailer. 10 spd Flat Bar shifters have a trim feature like the STI shifters . hence why i keep old derailer

hi ... to answer the question . shimano recomends a specific FD with Flat Bar shifters. i got my old FD to work with the new shifters with some fine tuning ... shifter is for triple ring but can and does work fine with a double ring.
