also done it with Stumpjumper Comp ... Use a Ritchey 2.1 or Vee Rubber Mission 2.1 or Maxxis Crossmark 2.1 tyre on the rear for good clearance

find a cover / cap that has a recess under it . they are avail

done it with a 2007 stumpjumper comp size 17 inch frame . no problems , plenty clearance

BTW i own a silverback 650B syncra HT carbon i ve got a scott ( older model ) spark converted specialized stumpjumper in both 26 and 29 HT sintesi 609 dual sus carbon in 26 so i have tried varies bikes and wheel sizes

bike turns easier , pedals with less effort . bike is a little lighter and changes direction beta than 29 im not the fittest or fastest on a bike and find the 650 easier to ride. im using ARDENT 27-5 x 2-25 tyres find that im sitting more in the bike than on it as what can happen with some 26 converted to 27-5 bikes

i went the other way ..... dropped my Anthem 29er down to 650 B BB dropped 15mm only rides well and i enjoy it
