    MAVIC RIMS

hi .... can anyone tell me if Mavic wheels have a weight limit looking at the CROSS RIDE and CROSS TRAIL .
  17. hi there you can get a Shimano Deore front crank set which has 48 / 36 / 26 chain rings on it . your std front derailer should work with this no problem . you ll just have to move the derailer up a little to accomadate the larger chain rings
  18. try south coast cycles in toti .... he had some 2nd hand blade spokes
  19. if you think about selling your old Tora let me know please ....
  20. hi .... fit a pair of SPECIALIZED 26x1.24 slicks or if wanting a bit more comfort fit MICHELIN 26 x 1.4 slicks ..... which ever you fit , inflate to max and enjoy your ride
  21. would not recomend that route... worked a lot with carbon fishing rods and its a no no ...acetone evapourates very quickly . paint stripper does not .....paint stripper is far more aggressive
  22. hi only way to strip old coating off is to sand it by hand .using fine water paper wet pref with some dish washing soap / liquid to act as a lube
  23. sorry .... hijack ..... what price would the SLX go for ?
  24. hi MICHELIN make a 26 x 1.1 as well as a 26 x 1.4 DONT think you ll find the 1.1 s in SA . the 1.4 s are really great and super fast plus they still grip well in wet conditions . i ve got them on my spare wheel set for road training SPECIALIZED make a 26 x 1.24 with built in puncture protection . i find the MICHELINS roll better and more comfortable
  25. hi a SLX 11 X 28 cassette should work fine on your set up . i m using it on a SCOTT with 105 setup
