Don’t want you falling off because of this. #signindemnityformhere Temporarily threaded bolts into plastic. Will add brass threaded inserts. (PS it’s still a work in progress.)

In 2023 the Cape Epic hosted a kids race at the grande finale at val de vie. I entered my, 4 year old, daughter in to it and she loved it! Since then she has asked for more races like it and I saw there was one at the paarl bike fest but that has been postponed and subsequently canceled 😕 Are there other events out there hosting fun races for little kids? Not "real racing" but something where they get a medal and get to challenge themselves.

I have a 12s XT RH shifter that has the mount that attaches to a brake mount. Does anyone have a broken shifter or the “Normal Clamp Mount”

It was my first K2C too. It was a tough ride but loved every bit of it! I can concur wrt the rocky terrain, I rode it with a @Titan Racing Bikes Switch Gravel bike. Descending was rough! haha biggest issue on my side were my Vitoria terreno dry tyres 38c. You definitely want a grippier tyre with higher volume and more tread. Looking at Maxxis Rambler or Kenda Booster Pro 700cx40c for my next gravel race Terreno Dry will be my training tyre.

Hi all. I’m looking for the photos taken up chappies climb by the gentlemen in the photo I captured via my GoPro. He doesn’t look like an action photos SA photographer. Why not both? I recently put a gravel groupset on a 2013 29er Hardtail and its effing awesome! (PS. its also steel! ) with your budget you should easily be able to build up a VERY cool hybrid gravel bike from a used hardtail. (EDIT: 1. the fork helps with bumps and you can lock it out on the road. 2. The wide and tall 29er tyres also absorb some of the bumps. (a lot of research done regarding rolling resistance and tyres Check out GMBN and GCN on youtube) 3.
