i have a ravo tandem taht I am looking at selling..willing to hold back if you want to use it but will have to insist on a % of the winnings or a base fee at least..which races do you intend riding before Argus??

two seperate instances with friends experiencing this problem one was a result of the pedal having to be serviced and the other one the saddle bracket was cracked

on comrades last year I got to westridge and was feeling ok except for the normal wear and tear when it felt thatt a brick wall had fallen on me. It felt like I was going to pass out like when everything around you dims and brights and it feels as though you are going to fall over on your face and had to sit down next to the road. I eventually got up again and struggled forward where it took me nearly two hours to do the last 7km..which is mainly downhill... my daughter still teases me and says i need to train the last 7km

Dunno to me it means no cycles allowed without riders..

Very very sad. what makes it even more traggic is that the people have not been identified as far as I know. How many of us just hop on the bike with no identification or contact details with us.. makes me take stock of my own habits

The marshall is waving a red flag to indicate that there is a split in the route not to herd the cyclists like sheep and there is a huge sign indicating that you should turn off for the 35km and carry on on the route for 70km..you come hurtling past on your trusty MTB oblivious of the marshall and the sign board..I think the rant should go to you for not paying attention on the route. Maybe, just maybe you were abducted before the race started and then dropped off on the second part of the course.

I agree on singletrack that you gotto wait your turn. On open track that would depend on the road surface, if the right hand track is nice and hard while the left track is "kitty litter" as babbas lodge was yesterday there is no way I am going to dive left into the rough track and leave the smooth and safer route open for someone else. Of course if it can be regarded as a proper dirt road then the normal rules of the road should apply. Just concerned that you are ranting like a roadie now about keeping left..and the shouting..

at kremetart this year my daughter of 16 rode the 70km race and was awarded the prize for first junior girl. She apparently came fourth overall of the women. A week later she received a call from the organisers, apparently one of the women that finished ahead of her actually also did motor pacing in a vehicle to get past her and claimed the prize money, but some family member ratted on her and she gave the money back.
