  1. Highball and Tallboy , best bikes
  2. I agree with Vitoria Barzo/ sagaru combo . Been training on these for epic and will be my tyre choice for epic . Have had no issues , very realiable.
  3. I did the 36one MTB race this last weekend . 362km of mountain biking in 21hrs and archived a whole 300points .
  4. This is shocking, I was Highjacked and stabbed just over a month ago as well. There must be a sindicate involved and these high jackers are just drugged up gunman for them, life means nothing to them. I also submitted to Carte Blanche.
  5. We ride this route fairy regularly and it is a well used track for riders in our area. I do believe it was not a crime by chance and we were targeted as cyclists. There were 2 guys who held me up the first one had a gun to my head and he was very quite and purely focused on keeping the gun on me. The other guy had the knife was the aggressive one screaming and threatening me and he stabbed me in his rage even before he took my phone etc . I never resisted in any way and still that did not help .
  6. If I look on google maps this is properly the closest to the actual high jacking spot https://maps.google.co.za/maps?q=-26.039113,27.888475&hl=en&ll=-26.039317,27.889422&spn=0.00114,0.002156&num=1&t=h&z=19
  7. Even if I was armed there is no way I would of even had time to reach for it. It happens so fast as they jumped out if the bush in a well camouflaged area and before I could blink I had a gun to my head. With being cleated in and hands on the bars you are helpless. And I do believe if they found a gun on me I would not be here now. They are pro's and know exactly how to use the element of surprise . And with the barrel of the gun against your head you are not going to move. TRUST ME
  8. Hi guys it was me that was bike jacked , I am fine for now and will heal. Just lucky I got away with my life. Please all be very careful out there. I was with another couple who were on a tandem and they luckily got away .
  9. The Bike was still under Warranty and it is a great bike, suppose I was just unlucky. I just called the shop to let them know what bad luck I had as know the guys there pretty well so is was just to inform them on the race. I never expected them to go to all that trouble. But they did and did everything possible to get me going again.
  10. This past weekend at the Berg and Bush day 2, I managed to break my Carbon Fibre rear stay on my beloved Trigon Dual Suspension MTB. I called Dave from Leewee's cycles and told him my bike had broken, the immediate response was that he would arrange a replacemnet to be delievered to me at Berg And Bush ASAP. Willie from Trigon drove all the wayfrom JHB to Winterton with a new rear stay for my bike and we managed to replace it late that evening and the bike was ready for the final stage on day 3. This is unbelievable service from Leewee's cycles and Willie from Trigon. Cant thank you guys enough for going that extra 1000 miles for a customer. WELL DONE!!!!!
