    Bring it

That poor pizza. Seems like the delivery was just around the corner but he decided to take the longer route.
  2. I am just glad this type of crime is getting some outside exposure as well. I really don't like seeing this thread popping up.
  3. You can also download the Trailforks app. Most of the common trails should there.
  4. Saw this article on the ENCA website https://www.enca.com/news/criminals-target-cape-town-cyclists
  5. Also didn't have stock that's why i eventually bought the stamp 1's from them. They managed to get in the 2 sets of the size small Stamp 1's. I am not unhappy with the stamp 1's, it's just that based on reviews I would have preferred that Chesters but couldn't find the Chester anywhere locally.
  6. Unfortunately their website has been indicating "out of stock" for a for a while now.
  7. Are there any places that stock Raceface Chesters in SA though? Was looking for that before i eventually settled on the Stamp 1's.
  8. Have you considered the Stamp 1 peddles. Recently bought a pair (size small) from Outdoor Escape. Seems to be much lighter than Stamp 2 and although it is made from a composite material, all reviews indicate that they are just as strong as the metal-type pedals. Also if you hit the pedal on a rock the scratches won't show up as much as with a metal pedal. Don't have any issues with grip and now using it with a pair of Etnies Marana Cranks which I also bought from them. https://www.outdoorescape.co.za/cyclefootwearpedals
  9. Anybody tried Etnies Marana Cranks? How does it compare to five tens? Considering buying a pair as it's on sale for R999. YouTube reviews looks quite good.
  10. Noted, thank you. Will go on Friday morning. Already have everyone's forms together.
  11. Does the office accept debit or credit cards or do you have to pay cash?
  12. Hi all Just a quick question. So we are a group 4 people that would like to get permits. The "proof of identity" that is required by each person, is that just copy of their identity document/card? Does it have to be certified at the police station?
  13. Yes, thank you. I saw and appreciate those posts. Can I use the the SX shifter if I swop out the derailluer or is it better to replace that with an SLX shifter at the same time? Apologies for all the questions. I am still new to biking and all the different options and technologies just gets confusing.
  14. Okay. Thanks for the feedback. I also heard that it is just a swop but there are so many opinions on this that it's confusing. Was hoping to get some feedback from someone that might have actually done it.
  15. Hi iancarswell I came across your post and am curious to know if you went forward with the Sram SX to Shimano upgrade? If you did, what did you have to replace? I am in a similar situation with the bike that I purchased, having a 12 speed Sram SX groupset. I would like to replace the rear derailleur before it breaks but not sure if I can replace the SX derailleur to the Shimano SLX derailleur only, at this stage (and maybe the shifter) or is there other parts I would need to replace as well. Appreciate any input.
  16. Hi All Been lurking around for a while now, finally decided to join the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I'm from Cape Town and after many years finally decided to get back into biking. Bought my MTB bike earlier this year after going through a very confusing time trying to understand even the basics. How the cycling world has changed over the years. I'm very glad I found the forum as it's very informative, which helped quite a bit in clearing the mist of confusion, and as a bonus, it's a local South African community. Hope I might have something useful to contribute some day.
