  1. They were built by Bjorn Zorger at W2 Cycling in Hilton. They are awesome.
  2. Yes, correct. I will post a better pic of it sometime.
  3. Updated pics. 99% done. Just needs pedals (XT arriving today) and then a red seat post clamp and small red spacer once the new Easton stem is fitted.
  4. Ok, so have done about 200kms on my PYGA now and added a few little bits after the build kit. Am really pleased how it has turned out.
  5. I have been riding the PYGA now for a while, I did about 200kms on a medium hardtail, used a large demo oneten for a few hundred kms, and have now done about 150kms on my medium ONETEN. I was riding a dual sys 26" before. There are only two words to describe the PYGA. PHE NOMINAL Throw anything at it, Twisty single track, rocks, drop offs, berms, knarly climbs, rolling jeep track, miles and miles of district road, whatever, it just rides likes a beaut. Pat has designed a bike that truly is great in many different types of riding that we do.
  6. I rekon it will be, hoping to be ready to ride in a week or two. Will post some pics.
  7. Build starts this week, Cotic Solaris. Will post more pics as it progresses.
  8. The Zero 29 is an awesome bike, Pat was kind enough to lend us the demo bikes while we waited for our frames, so I am pleased people got to see them while the frames were being made.
  9. Ready for Eston
  10. First race on the new PYGA, what a bike. Thanks to Pat and the team at PYGA for getting my bike ready to race on Saturday. Pat Morewood really knows what he is doing on bike geometery It was the Eston 60kms, with a mix of single track, long climbs and some fast rolling jeep track. Well done PYGA.
  11. I have just left Pats house. The frames all cleared customs late thursday and arrived in Pietermaritzburg on Friday. Pat was busy assembling the first few this afternoon. They look awesome in the flesh. Super excited now!
  12. It is better than awesome!! I have done a few hundred kms on Pats demo, including long trails (karkloof and howick) and very technical track (cascades wc course) and can tell you this bike rocks!! Pat has confirmed arrival date of the new ones around third week of July! Bring it on. Can't wait.
  13. Designed and assembled in SA. In fact, in good old sleep hollow, Maritzburg. The frames are produced in the East. Builds are done in PMB.
  14. Today I rode Pat Morewoods PYGA. I can honestly say I was blown away by both these bikes. Did a couple laps on the World Cup course at Cascades, on the hard tail and the dual. Both were awesome, but WOW, the dual is something else. It climbs well, cruises through the switchback climbs and descends like a rocket. All in all, simply brilliant. I don't want to ride my 26" now for the next 8 weeks while I wait for my new ONETEN PYGA.
  15. Hello, I have ridden Clearwater three times this week. It is awesome. The new markers look good and the trails are in good condition. I am riding there again on the 30th, early am, leave the office about 06h45. Will do Blue, Black and Red, maybe about 30kms. Anyone else planning to ride there on THursday morning, let me know, Cheers, Bruce
