  1. Correct. Its the same ratio I raced Hilton Dirt Fest on, and various training rides around Albert Falls, Cascades, Bizley, Karkloof etc, so hopefully it works out for me on Sunday.... in the heat...
  2. thanks for the replies guys. I am looking forward to it, just hope this kewl weather holds. Going to run 32x17 on 29er. there are more flats than you think on hill2hill. I am not worried about the big open road climbs, I currently climb Friesland 45 seconds faster than I could last year on geared bike, so should be OK on those. The short steep ones could be the problem, especially with traffic, or if at all muddy. Anyways, gonna just head out there an enjoy this race, in one gear. Should be a blast!
  3. i am running a 32x17 for this year. Hoping its not as hot and windy as yesterday!! my ratio is 1.88, so hopefully only 1 part pain to 1.88 parts fatigue!!!
  4. what ratio has anyone run for hill2hill and what was your time? Cheers, thanks.

  15. Ryan and I both rode PYGA OneTen29 at Joberg2C. Both bikes went like a bomb, no problems at all. Shout out to TorqueZone for keeping them hundreds during the week. I saw about 9 PYGA's there, not sure how the other guys finished up, but these ones we spoke to during the week were loving the bikes.

  20. So, the PYGA is now 6 months already I figured it was time for a new Thompson stem and post and some Avid XO Trails, awesome brakes with the new 4 piston design they stop this bike like a brick wall and are light and good looking, and .........................quite................... And a gold chain!

  24. Hi there My son is a bit younger, we recently moved him onto a Momsen JSL40 (24" bike) when he was not yet 8. It is very light (9kgs) and he is absolutely loving it. The build qlt and geometry on the bike is very good.
