Due to a the big C back in my body (going for radiation in May) I need to rest from time to time and many times there is nothing to lean the bike against. I see the Giant have a mounting place for a side kick stand. Anybody else with stands?

I suffer severely from COPD. Got bad news that the big C is also back and will start radiation in May. Some days are good with the COPD but some days are bad. What meds do others take with on rides or before rides ? I take a Duevent pump with, I had to stop riding my eBike for a few months due to work commitments but soon to be going on pension. (63y) but want to start soonest riding again

My wife wants to have her cheapie MTB converted to eMTB. It will only be to go for short rides with me and easy trails and gravel and some tar road. Who does this conversions and pref Cape Town area ? Thanks

Enduro for me too. Had a few punctures but seals very fast. Can i use CO2 with Enduro in my Maxxis tyres ? In emergency.

The safety aspect is what interest me. So if me and my wife get some, I can use the "Walkie Talkie" part and talk to her. And hear when she slipped a chain again. Or any problem. She once was attacked and I was about 300m in front already as we went past the Velodrome. A motorist alerted me she is in trouble. The attacker did not see me coming ! Dit was morsig.

I had the Ardent on my new Giant E Stance. And I fell my gat off at Bloemendal. the front tire just washed out on the dam wall. Julian from Giant Durbanville then sorted me out with Maxxis DHF with EXO and rear Maxxis DHR II also EXO and wow what a difference. Any terrain, even wet tar is superior grip. I now weigh 97 kg and use 2 bar in the rear and 1.8 front. I will stick to these tires when these are no longer working.

Go get your eBike. You will never regret it. I used to be MTB rider, but 10 years ago the big C caught up with me and kept me from enjoying any physical sport. Today I am clean again but turned 60 and much weaker than 10 years ago. Now I had two options: Get a eBike and start enjoying MTB again, or listen to a lot of people who do not approve of eBikes and lead a negative life. The choice was easy. I bought my e Bike because I want to ride it. Not to impress anybody or to belittle anybody. Just for myself. Simple. FIFO.
