Chuck out the old rim strip- you don't need it (added weight ) I've never seen a rubber seal used before. Use it if you want, but I don't think it's needed. Use lots of soapy water as it helps lube things and seal the bead. Best of luck.

Is the extra R400 worth it for the Keo 2 Max pedals? Keo 2 Max (R1100) vs Keo Classic (R700). Weight wise the Keo 2 Max are 10g lighter. Opinions chaps!!!

R4400 for both hey. Been doing reviews on the the Eastons but it doesn't look good hey. Broken spokes galore! I'm also an Easton guy- own some EA70's at the moment, but after all the reviews I'm thinking Mavics. Just need people's advice as I've never owned some Mavics.

Any opinions?

Yup its the use of carbon fibre that makes the bike fatter as it needs numerous layers. Added layers to certain areas of the frame makes it stronger- take the chainstay and BB for example. And vice versa the thinness of some seatstays (Cervelo).
