So I recently invested in a higher priced pair of Vermarc Bib shorts wow I could ride in these all day nuf said.

I would not recommend the Dam in Pretoria if its the one I’m thinking about as I think there is a hippo and a couple of baby crocks that live there. Check out Victoria Lake. Rietvlei you might get away with it but if your swimming whilst people are trying to fish you will become very unpopular very fast. The best is head down to the Vaal Dam for a weekend there are some great yacht clubs and some lovely camp sight and plenty of lovely quiet roads to be found Oh and then there is Bass lake in Henley-on-Klip but you got to pay an entrance fee but again make a day of it.

Went for a ride today and got to say I love my Shimano 105's Im sure you get beter but they certainly do great for me.

Will definatly check out the Planet X Saddle.

Let’s face it there are good products and then there are terrible ripe offs So if there is something you have found that works for you let others know. More recently I bought a relatively inexpensive pair of Velotex Bib short = Fantastic. These were not even the top of the line red label but one down (I think the white) as they did not have my size in the red label. Well done to Velotex a South African company making some good quality products. I will keep my eye out for more of there products.

I know of a few mates who do it every year and will never let there entry go to waste, for this reason it must certainly be a great race. The race organises have worked out a winning formula that works and makes it sort after, but why no one else has tried to follow the same rounte on a different day or set of different start dates Im puzzeled.
