  1. Price crazy just keeps coming https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/dual-suspension-mountain-bike-frames/460187/specialized-s-works-carbon-26er
  2. Sorry bud, but you just can't advertise it as an S-works stumpy, (s-works epic, venge, enduro or any of the other models) unless it has all the s-works parts. Taking a Travese SL Wheelset off and replacing it with a traverse alu wheelset is far from not standard, its a very big downgrade.
  3. First time I've seen an S-works bike with alu wheelset. Come one guys, can't advertise something as an s-works without the proper spec. Lekker skelm. https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/dual-suspension-bikes/457764/specialized-s-works-stumpjumper?referrer=top
  4. People are just getting jags with the pricing now. It's a bit like BTC bubble. It's just going up, up and up. Really can't see why a bike like this should be anything close to R80k. This whole shindig is going to go down pretty soon, can't keep making **** this expensive, not like salaries have increased 50% since covid.
  5. So what's going on here. Two sellers same pictures? Already steep at the lower price. https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/mountain-bike-forks/450304/fox-36-grip-2 https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/mountain-bike-forks/451667/fox-factory-36-grip-2
  6. The Evo is a full on trail bike with really great climbing capabilities. Pretty much the perfect sweet spot for trails and Enduro racing here in SA. The Enduro on the other hand is really a very large beast, made to point down in extremely steep and technical terrain. I was very surprised as to how well it still climbs though, I really loved riding it and it made square hits and braking bumps feel like you are going for a road ride but personally it is just too much bike for 99% of the trails we have here in Cape Town. So no, two very different bikes, each having a dedicated place. Do agree that the models they are bringing in is a bit stupid, most probably a supply issue with covid globally as the SA market is still pretty much just about the racing snakes and their epics.
  7. Once again. WTF are these people thinking. R40k for this o.p.o.s. Bring back the comments man so we can tell these okes straight. https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/dual-suspension-bikes/446182/specialized-camber-comp-2015?referrer=top
  8. So are people smoking crack lately with the pricing of all these old bikes. I mean it's a 9 year old bike... Must be the "modern geometry" of the bike. Face palm. https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/dual-suspension-bikes/441424/2012-specialized-s-works-stumpjumper-fsr-carbon-29
  9. Looks pretty suspect. If anyone maybe lost one recently. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/236368987924704/
  10. I really find it amazing that people think their stuff is still worth premium if it's in such bad shape and they always quote the new price. Yes new is more but then it's a 2021 model, brand new not a 3 year old model. Just a view scratches... that staction's moer toe. 11. Hi Bundu Ric. Unfortunately what Duane said is very true. However there's quite a bit of lekker riding still to be done that involves some very nice sections of dirt in between tar if you do a loop through Glencairn, Fish Hoek, Noordhoek that includes some chappies and back. It's obviously more tar but I do it on my Gravel bike and it's pretty good. It's pretty much allot of backroads through neighborhoods so you will need to know where to go. Otherwise as the others suggested Cape Point is very nice, and then the other popular trail networks. Let me know, maybe we can go for a ride to show you around.
  12. Looks allot like XTR to me but hey, if it comes in an XO1 box it must be Sram. https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/complete-groupsets/443218/sram-xo-components
  13. Hahaha, I see now the original post was made in 2018, so moving on, nothing to see here.
  14. Hi Luke. The Yari is not a bad fork at all. In terms of getting down DH 0 a bit smoother, a comb of current fork setup and the correct size tire (with the correct air pressure) will already do a hell of a lot in term of harshness. A larger volume front tire that you run softer will make a massive difference.
