Hi all Hubbers. We have been robbed again last night at 18.30 - 15 minutes after we left the shop in Tygervalley. The bastards broke the back entrance . The best cyclist that I have ever seen in South Africa, Alan van Heerden past away this afternoon. Johny Koen and myself called him earlier today to wish him the best of luck after his operation , but unfortuanatly he was not available and we left a message on his mobile. Never did we know that he would never get this message. I were very fortunate to ride against him, to stay with him for a few months during 1975 and still being in contact with the "Idol" as most of us called him. He was always clean on himself , clean on his bike . Lets not say anything bad against the greatest cyclist that South Africa has ever produced. All I can say. Some answers: Stringbean. Chris jnr brings many different items in . Campy, Shimano, Fizik ect ect. Go to www.cwcycles.co.za and have a look at what he has. Mampara: Chris jnr brings pro stuff from different suppliers in Europe and other places. All the stock that he brings in comes from official agents. For excample: The agent or distr of Mavic in France sit with plenty stock which he wants to get rid of but he cant cut the price in France. Now what will he do? He will contact someone outside France and make him a offer to buy the wheels. We then buy it and if anything happens to it he will still carry the warenty. PLEASE TAKE NOTE This is only a explanation and I do not say that we get our Mavic from the French agent. We can also get stock from different manufacturers.
