Thanks Morne and Mr Legs. Yes it was fast but we WILL have 2 groups next week. I think that the slow group must leave at 6h00 - 30 min before the fast/fit group. Will inform you all soon. Mr Legs they will be watching you next week.

What a nice ride last night. We were 64 riders that left Chris Willemse Cycles at 6.30 and it was nice seeing more cyclist waiting on the way to Durbanville along the route. Moolman Welgemoed and another few new faces joint the bunch as well. Did the okes moved down Adderley road. It was nice with the wind from behind all the way to the Silos . The bunch did brake up in about 3 bunches but they all gathered and waited for everyone to re group at the Occodale road. Well done . Once they got onto Adderley road the wind was from the front. Here the riders were motoring again and the front cyclist waited at the Spes Bona road where everyone re grouped again and road all the way home as 1 big bunch. Well done to all and to the new ones we say welcome. See you all next week.

Hi Covie. You must be here tonight. What will the night be without you . Just bring a buddy with. Its going to be a "lekker" evening. Seems like no wind and plenty riders which means = PLENTY SLIPSTREAM.

Lets give the Federation the opportunity to make a announcement when the time is suitable for them. We should keep thumbs up for them . Cycling needs a great and big tour.

Well done to Cycling South Africa and the committee that is worked hard to get get a sponsor for the "Tour of South Africa ". I read in the newspaper this morning that a sponsor has been signed and the South Africa will stage a 9 day international tour in 2011. This is great news for all cyclist national and international. This event will take place during the 3rd week of February. can you imagine: 3rd Week February : Tour of South Africa 1 st week March: Giro Few days later : Argus tour 1 Week later: Tour de Boland Furthermore it is also announced that we will have more criterium events on a Friday afternoon/night followed by a 180 km event on the Saturday for the Elite riders and then a fun ride on the Sunday. I would like wish them the best of luck and we are looking forward to have a big tour back on the International calender soon again.

Not sure , but most probably Wellington until Spes Bona. Here the short route will turn left and the long route will carry on straight until Silos . Left and left again until Adderley where we will meet up with the short route untill the finish at CW Cycles. I will put the final route on later today. I am open to suggestions

Well the boys are back and it seems like we are going to have lekker weather tomorrow night on our normal Wednesday night ride. Please lets make it a nice BIG turnout. I am planning to get the press photographer out here as well. Bring your buddy's and training partners. See you all .

Yes I think the year or so that he is off the bike did not do him good. I will chat to his mom and see if we can send him on some trainig classes how to handle a bike or we will fit some side wheels on his bike.

Silverboy. Thanks man. Yes there was a fall last night at the back of the bunch. GUESS WHO ? No one else than Chris jnr himself. I had to laugh . he, Morne , Trevor and two other riders were chatting and the next moment I just saw a cyclist going down after hitting a pothole. Unfortunately for me is that I did not make any money out of the fall. Its all his own imports. That is part of the game. His got some lekker bruises and some broken clothing otherwise he is ok.

What a lekker ride the 28 riders had. Left the shop at 6.30 down Carl Cronje left in Tygerberg road over Tiekie draai and then right onto Vissershok road straight over Malans Hoogte . This was with the wind from behind. At the T juction they turned into Adderley street against the wind and then left in Spes Bona - 8km gravel -and then right at Wellington road all the way home against the wind.

This weekend is the big day for Scott bike fans and those who are not fans will become a fan. I cant wait to have these bikes in our store soon. They are having their road show this coming weekend.

They do between 20/25K. We do both road and off road per night.

What is stunning ride and evening it was last night. Thanks to all of you who was at the ride. No accidents and everybody road like champs. See you all again next week. I think we should do a new route again. Will go out by car and look at some new ones.

I want to ask all the hubbers to wish Johan [JJ] of Classic cycles the best of luck with his major operation tomorrow morning. Johan has a lot of pain in his back and we hope and pray that the operation will be a great success.

Let me tell you guys. Scott 2011 is going to upset the market.Its looks awesome and well spec and price. I were very fortunate to be at the warehouse in Port Elizabeth last week and had a quick look at the rest of the 2011 range. Sorry Brandon I did not look on purpose but my eyes could not look elsewhere. They were busy getting the bikes ready for the show in a few days time. I am so glad that I am one of the fortunate dealers to sell Scott bikes in South Africa. WHOW
