  1. Hey Bruce Reyneke cycles sells MOST stuff. The reason that no one has it is firstly MAJOR expensice and ASG is the importers of MOST, Pinarello, Rudy project and so on. But I definitely know that Bruce Reyneke sells MOST. I go there once a week so I'd know
  2. 1. Your recovery HR should be when there is no effort and you just sit lekke chilled and spin at comfy cadence, NO EFFORT 2. It depends on how you look at it. If you get fitter you'll ride faster so your HR will be the same, but if you get fitter and ride the same as normal then yes it will take longer to reach HR Max, but like I said your body can only do THAT much (which gets more as you get fitter) but fitness is all about recovery and how fast you can bring that HR down. 3. There is no average time to bring HR down, it all depends on how relaxed you are after a PUSH or for how long you pushed yourself. You'll start noticing after a few rides how long it takes for you to bring your HR down and as you get fiiter you'll see a great measure of time being deducted from the initial. With that said as you get fitter you definitely ride faster even if you dont try to your body is used to that amount of effort and will keep on doing that so if you get fit your effort margin will get higher and youll go faster but with the same heart rate as what you began with. @Redline. Everyone thinks that the faster you go the more fat you burn but thats absolute bulsh*t. Fat burning is at a low heartrate for a loooong time. If you keep your HR high all you doing is cardio which is fitness and getting your heart strong. So if you want to lose wait, spend long hours in the saddle but keep your HR down...
  3. You must just remember that resting heartrate should be taken when you wake up and didn't eat, drink or do anything... When you start walking around. Pump your wheels or get dressed, this all makes your HR go up... If I do base training and I just sit with a fast cadence my HR is at about 150 and thats not hard riding. Every thing you do affects your heart rate. The thing about fitness is not how high or low your HR can go. Its all about recovery. If you have a fast heart rate by nature then you'll maybe go to 170 with no effort, but the fitter you get the faster your heart rate will come down after a lekke sprint. HR differs from person to person and some are low and others high, its just how fast you can recover your heart rate to your specific normal zone. Hope this helps
  4. Me dad also has exactly the same problem. He rides for a while and then the speed just stops working and his sensor is at on his fork. @ Larry. It doesn't matter where the sensor is really. Ive been riding my sensor on the back for years and no probs ever. I must tell you My cadence sensor has also done this for the first time this week. My dad and I are both riding with CS600. Maybe a bug or something. Let me know if you get it sorted
  5. Hey mollo no that is definitely not your daughter... I'm 100% SURE OF THAT... And for the grouprides... Most clubs have bunch rides on saturday/sunday mornings so if you're not use to it go to a club and ride with them. They are always helpfull and would like to help you become a better cyclist.
  6. oh yea it was blue, red and yellow MTN kit. Not the club 100 yellow
  7. Mollo I'm quite sure that it wasn't you daughter as this lady was alot older. In her thirties I guys... And even if it was your daughter and she rode like a maniac, then you need to teach her some manners or at least how to ride like a civilized person. For the comments of she riding me into the ground. I sat with my girlfriend and helping her to get over the line because she is riding her first 94.7 after just a few months on the bike. She still managed to do it under 4 hours. Even if that wasn't the case it doesn't matter if she can beat me or not, there are still rules on how to ride and if you break them it will get me pissed, no matter on what your time is. RACIST??? just comes to show that giving a discription of someone gets all the racists up and running. Only racists themselves will take it personnaly because they dont't have any selfconfidance so everthing has to be about them and their brused ego...
  8. Ther was this coloured lady in MTN Business cloting (Started in "R") that knew absolutely nothing about holding a line. At about 20km she just kept on pushing in front of people in the bunch. Not even showing that she is coming. At 65km she came past us and pushed in front of me almost clipping my front wheel. (She just shook her head as if it was my fault). When I shouted to keep her line and just ride like a person she just through SIGNS... (a real cycling B*TCH) Sometimes I think by myself when I pass medics in a race that these are the people that are down and screaming of pain, because they are the cause of all the other peoples pain and somhow they never get thrown off
