The Pedal Power Association has withdrawn the 2014 Cape Argus Pick n Pay Momentum Cycle Tourentries of two of the riders who were involved in the incident during which a motorist was assaulted a few days ago in Sea Point. In addition, these two cyclists have been suspended from the Association, pending a further disciplinary investigations. Further investigations are still underway regarding other individual/s involved. The cyclists were arrested by the Police on Tuesday 3 March 2014 and spent the night in jail. Same story we had on Saturday morning in Strand side. We " our riding group " were on our way to Rooiels riding along Beach road. We stop at a red traffic lite, and this guy and his friend on his OLD RED AND BLACK LOOK WITH 404 ZIPP FIRECREST WHEELS WITH POWERTAP HUB , past us from behind and drove over the red traffic lite. We shouted at them to stop, the guy on the Look just look back at us and shouted "F@#$ you" and went on riding.

There is still 6 day's to go. Weather can change because of the Front system moving on. I always keep an eye on this stuff because over weekends i'm in the strand side, and the wind "pomp" insane there!!! We will now more on fryday if we are in for something, of anderste is ons in ons chops!!!

One thing they found was, that it spins one #%^&&^@# hell of speed down a track, and you can get faster on speed because of the small wheel, BUT!!! you need FREAKEN ducktape to stick your hands on the bar because it was one hell of bumpy ride!!!!! So, they import two of this Santa Cruz Super 8's to SA and i have one of them, great fun to ride with 24inch on the back and 26inch on the front, But scary stuff to handle. i change the wheel size to 26inch on the back, and it handles much better now. Santa Cruz was the first bike company that said F@#$ the bike industry , we going big with 650B.

I will say between pic G0060227 and G60238 . on the R304 and then you turn right of there between the farms .

F_R_A_I_L, what was your group time at the right turnoff ""half way mark"" from the R304 to the R44? If i look at the photos, this was the group the me and a other rider on a scott were busy chasing down, and we just catch up with this group at the turn.

Was rerig n baie lekker race gewees, en dit baie geniet, maar die laaste 40km was erg gewees, Eerste 50km was "hammer down" al die pad vir my gewees. Het uit 2 groepe uit gebreek en gesprint, een by Remhoogte se klim en n groep op R304 in gehaal en toe weg gebreek net na die N1 brug opad R312. Kry toe n ou wat saam met my weg breek. ons het mekaar toe gehelp tot ons die volgende groep in gehaal het by die die afdraai pad opad R44 toe. Toe ek weer kyk, toe se my garmin dis 40'c, toe weet ek, nou gaan ons k@k!!! Langs die pad het mense gesit en huil langs hulle fietse, wat moet op gegee het, mense wat onder bome sit, elite ouens wat ons verby gevat het wat jy kan sien wat gebreek is en nie meer kan nie. Het 2 ouens gekry wat my gevrae het of hulle in my slip kan bly omdat hulle sukkel om te ry. Was nie lank nie , toe val hulle weer terug want hulle kan toe nie by hou nie. Het op die R44 n ou en sy vrou gekry op n tandem , wat hy af geklim het het en die fiets na haar toe gegooi het en gese het hy kan nie meer nie, en begin loop het, en n ou wat sy fiets stoot, wat se voor tyre oop gebars het "neem an die teerpad was warm gewees". Soos almal gese het, die laaste 5km wil net nie klaar gekom het nie, en dan moet jy nog fun riders verby steek ook nog. Ek dink die resies het ons uiterste getoets, en hoop nie die Argus draai so uit nie. hehehehe

hahahaha!!! will 80plus ouens op daai paaitjie sien, en dan moet jy nog iemand op n david kramer dikwiel bicycle kry ook opad plaas toe!!!!!!! hahahahaha

Ons het so paar min net daar na verby gegaan. Ek het amper gedink die persoon was dood gewees want daar het n wit lap gele!!! het nie snaaks gelyk nie. En net soos 1km voor dit het ons almal self amper n ongeluk gehad. groep wat ons in gehaal het wat ons me besig was om deur te werk, toe trek een dom ou sy briek en kos my om brieke vas te kap ook. ek hoor seker 80 ryers wat gil en ek daar by ook op die ou voor ons!!! was nie snaaks nie.
