This is Frank. He is about 3 years old. My gentle giant. This is Minx. We adopted her from Cat Care a year ago. She is Frank's girlfriend. The two this morning.

We have been on Medihelp Necesse option for about 5 years. It is their network option. No savings account that can run out. After 9 visits you have to get an auth number and that is as easy as a sms. They are not great in paying meds but we don't need a lot of those. In regards to hospital, they are awesome. Had 2 knee ops, an appendectomy, miscarriage and my daughters birth in the last 5 years and we only paid what the surgeon charged over and above medical aid rate. We will def stick with them.

What yoghurts do you guys use? And where do you buy them?

Had a white bread roll on saturday. I could immediately feel the heavyness of the bread. Not nice. Also tried the 90% Lindt chocolate. Not sure I like it.

What do I do when I'm craving chocolate? I'm not hungry at all, but I just want chocolate!!!!!! :drool:

I'm loving the fact that my blood pressure is not dropping. Love love love it! This has really changed my life.

I'm on day 5 and I'm loving this. I've got low blood pressure. So low that I can't donate blood. I use to turn into a total b!tch if I got hungry and I would not feel well. Since I've been on this eating plan my blood pressure is stable. I can go hungry and not feel like I need to eat NOW. I've got more energy and I went for a run on Saturday and I felt really good. I'm loving this!!! Oh and I've lost 1.1kg in 4 days. :clap:

My 2nd day of not eating any carbs and I'm feeling much better than yesterday. I wasn't even hungry last night and only had an egg for supper. I'm 0.5kg down in one day, but I'm putting that as water loss. So will see what the scales says after a week. Is bacon ok?

So I had a bad week with carbs (no excuse) and decided this morning that I want to cut out all breads. This morning breakfast was a egg, a vienna, some cheese and full fat yoghurt. Snack was another vienna and a apple. But I'm feeling very light headed. Can it be because i'm not taking in carbs now?

The LCHF is starting to intrigue me. I've already cut out bread, so now it is just the other starches. Just a question though to all the experts.... I drink two cups of rooibos tea a day with a 1/4 teaspoon of sugar. That is about the only sugar I take except for the cup of milo now and then. Do I need to cut that out as well? Or is it so little that it won't matter.

I downloaded a program on my phone called Noom. Not sure if anybody else is using it. It is not bad. It helps me track my eating, and it works out how much you should eat to get to your goal weight. You can also track your excercise and it will increase your calorie intake for the day. I've been using it for a week now and I'm down a kg. I've got 5 more to go.
